Although Kaido is new to the world of acquisitions, he has demonstrated his visionary leadership and commitment to success by assembling a team of experienced M&A professionals.

Christopher Ray
Head of Legal and Compliance
As a partner in corporate practice, Mr. Ray brings a history of working with startups, small businesses, and businesses entering into early funding rounds, e-commerce and highly regulated businesses including those involving digital assets in corporate and transactional matters.
He has litigated employment-related matters before the EEOC, and is experienced in business-to-business civil litigation, international transactions, and matters of intellectual property. He has served as ERISA compliance counsel at all levels of employee benefit compliance, including health care plan design. Together with his PHR-certified HR professional certifications, he is also Co-Founder and Manager of C-Squared Consulting, a labor and employment compliance firm providing training, regulatory compliance assistance, and risk management solutions for small businesses not in active litigation.
Mr. Ray also brings experience in complex securities matters, litigation as well as mergers and acquisitions. As corporate counsel, he has participated in mergers and acquisitions on both the buy-side and sell-side in transactions ranging from the acquisition of small brick-and-mortar businesses up through businesses in extremely complex niche regulatory spaces like complex financial technology, the legal adult-use cannabis industry, and banking software developers. He has served as lead counsel and due diligence counsel on more than twenty acquisitions across the course of his career. He has also served as securities compliance counsel for private equity fundraising, including fundraising involving complex financial instruments like cryptocurrency.
Legal Academics: Suffolk University Law School (Boston MA), juris doctor, graduate with distinction with an elective concentration in labor and employment law.
Undergraduate Studies: Bates College (Lewiston, ME) B.A. Philosophy, B.S. Musicology.

James Mayer

Mr. Mayer is an experienced Private Equity investment management professional with over 25 years of due diligence, investment structuring, and advisory services. credit underwriting and acquisition financing. Recently he was Executive Director - Private Equity at MUFG, the largest global bank by assets At MUFG he was responsible for portfolio and investment fund financings. Previously he was a Managing Director of Pinnacle Capital Management providing debt/equity capital advisory services for private equity investments working alongside development banks (World Bank, IFC and EIB) and Private Equity Investment Funds.
He joined Citigroup in 2005 as First Vice President of Investments where he led an investment and credit services team in capital markets transactions for Private Investment funds. From 1997-2005 he spearheaded the growth of the Merrill Lynch AI Group (now Blackrock Alternatives) from inception to over $12+ Billion in AUM, covering investments in the technology, energy, real estate and healthcare sectors.
Mr. Mayer began his career at Perkin Elmer, where he worked on the spinoff of three separate NYSE IPO’s totaling $1.2 Billion for their computer systems, government systems and life sciences divisions and arranged the capital for their $500 million buyout of Applied Biosystems (NYSE ABI), acquired in 2014 by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Academics: BS in Chemical Physics at State University of New York at Cortland and has completed his NASD Series 3, 7, 63, 65 licenses with post graduate studies at New York University in Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Credit Underwriting and Leverage Finance.

Maximos Behnan
Registered Investment Advisor
Ways Investment Advisors, LLC (“WIA”) serves as the investment adviser to the Neos Funds, and in this role, is responsible for the investment advice provided to the Neos Funds. This includes the communication and recommendation of investment opportunities and their inherent risks to the Funds. WIA will focus on research, education, and the recommendation of beneficial investment opportunities for the Funds. Such recommendations will be made in accordance with applicable information and investment strategies of the respective Fund(s), including economic trends and regulatory changes.
Mr. Maximos Behnan is the sole owner and control person of WIA. Mr. Behnan is a graduate of Ain Shames University, where he majored in accounting, and later received his MBA from Pepperdine University. Mr. Behnan has extensive experience serving as a financial adviser to clients.

Garland L. McLaughlin
Business Analysis
As a seasoned Business Analyst, Mr. McLaughlin brings his experience and expertise to Neos in Private Equity Group Management, Real Estate, Digital Asset Management, Equity Funds, Stock and Precious Metals Portfolio Management.
Garland will target product markets, intellectual property and customer equity value, and conduct analyses and market research to support asset value financial modeling. In addition, he will perform business valuations, capital structure analysis, future earning prospects, market value of assets, and determination of market capital. His activities will also include outlining and developing growth plans, including capital expenditures and investments while generating multi-year financial forecasts.
During this period of our early-stage growth, Mr. McLaughlin will also have the opportunity to participate in cultivating new financial partnerships and business development to help the company build value.
Academics: Pursuing an MBA at the University of the People, California; B.S. Economics / Political 3.0 from the University of Massachusetts, Boston; Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Northeastern University.
